Please note. I will now be hosting after-school tutorials on Mondays and Wednesdays in Room 212 from 2:50 until approximately 4:00pm. If you need extra help in math and/or just want to sit in and do some homework, please feel free to come to this classroom after school. Also, if you would like to make corrections on any test, this is the time to do so. I will ONLY accept test corrections if you do them during these time slots. I will also be available during second lunch in Room 211 as well if that time is better. Any other days, please speak to me and we can make arrangements. Thanks.

4)VofPyramid=1280

VofCone = 1004.8 Therefore, the pyramid will hold more popcorn.

5) Both spheres are the same size because their radius is the same size.

6)Vsmall tank = 1536

Vlarge tank = 12288

Vl/Vs = 12288/1536 = 8 Therefore, the large acquarium is 8 times bigger than the small one.

7)Vtop = 24

Vbottom=108

Total Volume = 24+108=132

8) You do not have to do this one because I did not teach it but if you want, you can try it. You must use Pythagorean Theorem and you will get an answer of 5.45 for height of the cone.

9) D – 10cm X 10cm X 40cm
